Wades Forklift Service Joins LiuGong North America Dealer Lineup

Wades Forklift Service LLC, based in Knoxville, Tennessee, is the latest dealership to join the LiuGong North America dealer network.

Leaders of the east Tennessee business said their growth strategy played a major role in partnering with LiuGong. After hearing a presentation from LiuGong North America, they tested out LiuGong machines and were impressed with their performance and collaboration with the LiuGong team.

“We listened to them and ended up buying one of the lifts, and we had really good service out of it,” said Marvin Wade, Wades Forklift Service owner. “We wanted to move forward to become a dealer, and now we’re in the process of increasing our rental department dramatically.”

Wade said he plans to rebrand as LiuGong of East Tennessee in the coming months.

With locations in Knoxville and Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, Wades Forklift Service covers east Tennessee and Kentucky, offering all types of material handling equipment and services. The company has been in business for more than 25 years, and its leadership team brings more than 30 years of industry experience to the LiuGong dealership network.

Jared Ward, LiuGong North America Director of Material Handling, noted Wades Forklift Service’s vision and growth potential.

“Wades Forklift Service has demonstrated its commitment to service over 20 years, and as they continue to expand, we’re excited to grow with them,” Ward said.

LiuGong North America President Andrew Ryan said the addition of Wades Forklift Service to the dealer network marks a significant opportunity to both expand its offerings and grow the LiuGong brand in the East South Central United States.

“Wades Forklift Service carries an excellent reputation for sales, rentals, parts and service throughout east Tennessee and Kentucky,” Ryan said. “We look forward to helping the business grow and expanding our brand footprint in the region.”

Wade said he hopes to significantly expand the rental side of his business through the partnership. His team is anticipating enough growth to add additional locations in the coming years, possibly near Chattanooga or northern Tennessee.

“We’re expecting to double our revenue in that department,” he said. “With the growth that we’re expecting, we’re going to have to look for additional locations.”
