GreyOrange, a global software and robotics platform provider that leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning to orchestrate fulfillment operations for companies worldwide, today announced Monty Waltz has joined the company as Head of Global Sales & Enablement. Waltz brings more than 25 years of enterprise-level supply chain and retail domain expertise to the Company as it expands its worldwide growth initiatives, particularly with global companies based in the United States.

As Head of Global Sales & Enablement, Waltz will work closely with GreyOrange’s global direct and indirect sales teams. His deep experience in value-based enterprise selling and strategic account management will shape Grey Orange’s go-to-market and account development initiatives. Most recently, Waltz was Senior Vice President of Sales at Revionics, a SaaS provider of price optimization software and analytics for retailers. During his 10-year tenure he led initiatives that increased revenue by more than 700%. Previously, Waltz led North American sales at Manhattan Associates (NASD: MANH), a supply chain technology leader, growing the customer base to more than 1,500.

“Automation and artificial intelligence within the supply chain, especially with respect to fulfillment, is only going to increase in importance over the next five to 10 years. What we see today is just the tip of the iceberg,” said Waltz. “I’m looking forward to combining my expertise in supply chain technology and retail to help GreyOrange improve fulfillment orchestration for companies across the globe in this exciting time of growth and development,” he added.

“Monty’s proven record of growing revenue through customer acquisition and expansion makes him a valuable addition to the GreyOrange team as we continue to gain customers and revolutionize supply chains through our unique combination of AI-driven software and advanced robotics,” said Samay Kohli, CEO of GreyOrange. “His experience driving sales and strengthening senior-level relationships across the retail and consumer product industries makes him a perfect fit for GreyOrange” he added.

Waltz’s appointment continues GreyOrange’s expansion in the U.S. by adding to the company’s leadership strength and industry expertise. GreyOrange’s U.S.-based operations include a software and robotics research and development lab in Boston, directed by co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Akash Gupta, and headquarters in the Atlanta tech corridor leading sales, manufacturing, delivery and operations.
