Shoppa’s Integrated Systems Division Grows with Appointment

Shoppa’s Material Handling, one of the largest Toyota forklift distributors throughout Dallas-Fort Worth, North Texas and Kansas City, Missouri, announced today the appointment of Curtis W. Parnell in the role of Director of Integrated System Solutions at Shoppa’s Material Handling and Shoppa’s Mid America.

“Curtis brings a lot of material handling experience to Shoppa’s,” says Jim Shoppa, President, Shoppa’s Material Handling. “He has a proven track record in sales, design and management that will be a positive asset to Shoppa’s as we continue our growth curve.”

After graduating from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelors in Political Science, Parnell has spent more than 25 years in forklift sales, designing and selling storage systems, as well as restructuring one company and founding another.

“I’m looking forward to the opportunity of being part of creating something new at Shoppa’s,” Parnell said. “I believe in setting the best example I can and only accepting 100 percent of effort on my part. My goals include greatly increasing the sales of systems at Shoppa’s and being part of growing a full-blown Equipment Systems Integration Division.”

Parnell brings multiple skills to his new position, including customer, operations and employee management, budgeting, directing and managing inventory flow, strategic and tactical business development, employee recruitment and compliance, marketing, sales, service and support.
