NextShift Robotics expands sales team

Industry veteran brings deep supply chain perspective to robotic materials handling

Lowell Mass, September 2019 – NextShift Robotics announced it has added supply chain software industry veteran Mark Grimes to its sales team. Grimes has over twenty years’ experience matching technology solutions to the needs of enterprise manufacturing and supply chains. He brings a wealth of experience in maximizing the value-to-customer of solutions ranging from robotic devices to digital supply networks and Product Cost Management tools.

“Mark is a great fit for NextShift’s breakthrough technology,” said Chris Russell, EVP Sales and Marketing. “He understands implicitly that our autonomous mobile robots are a fundamentally different solution for optimizing labor cost and throughput in materials handling and order fulfillment operations.”

NextShift’s groundbreaking approach applies fully independent autonomous robots to piece picking and other workflows. This innovative, synergistic robotic solution bridges the islands of automation in existing order fulfillment processes, saves workers miles of walking and hours of waiting, and raises warehouse throughput dramatically on every shift.
