With more than 60 years of development in the field of material handling equipment for warehouses, Jungheinrich is now continuing to expand its distribution network in more than 80 countries.

On April 28th, 2018, at the world’s largest material handling equipment exhibition in CeMAT (Hannover, Germany), Jungheinrich introduced technology improvements for the era of industry 4.0.

Jungheinrich is a German brand that manufactures materials handling equipment in warehouses. In the course of 60 years of development, Jungheinrich has developed and now is leading in the field of equipment that helps to move goods in and out of the warehouse safely and efficiently.

Jungheinrich’s Pedestrians forklift, Counterbalance forklift with the capacity of 4-5 tonnes will bring convenience to operators in carrying and moving goods. The sturdy components come with variable choices of accessories and installation options make each Jungheinrich forklift unique and tailor-made for the needs of the customer.

Besides, the replacement of the li-ion battery technology will help customers save more money, improve battery life and work time, compare to the old lead-acid batteries.

The most prominent and valuable type of Jungheinrich forklift is the VNA forklift, which is used for narrow aisles with a lifting height of up to 18m, intelligent navigation options and precise positioning of the stacking position.

Together with the forklift, Jungheinrich has also developed a robust warehouse system suitable for each type of forklift truck, truck management system and warehouse positioning system. At CeMAT 2018, Jungheinrich introduced the application of 4.0 technology in forklift truck management and operation, which helps automate the shipping process.

Having set up its own direct sales companies in Columbia, Peru and Ecuador in early 2018, Jungheinrich continues to expand its own network. In its core European market, Jungheinrich acquired the business of the Jungheinrich dealer DunaV Export-Import D.O.O. in Serbia as of 1 July, 2018. In the process, it set up its own sales company and took over staff and assets. For the Hamburg-based solutions provider for the intralogistics sector, this step is consistent with the implementation of its international growth strategy.

Dr Lars Brzoska, Board of Management member responsible for Marketing and Sales, said: “With the addition of Serbia, Jungheinrich now has its own sales companies in 40 countries around the world. Jungheinrich is already the market leader in Serbia and we want to keep it that way. We are consistently developing our global site network in line with our Group strategy in order to make even greater use of the local market potential. This enables us to offer our customers improved on-site support by way of local customer services and ensures spare part availability in their own country.”

Jungheinrich is currently in direct coverage in 40 countries and in more than 80 countries through their partner companies. In Vietnam, Rotomatik VN has been the exclusive distributor of Jungheinrich over the past 10 years.
