GreyOrange Hires Terrie O’Hanlon as Chief Marketing Officer

Veteran supply chain hire expands GreyOrange’s senior leadership and domain expertise to support growth

GreyOrange, a global software and robotics platform provider that leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning to optimize supply chains, today announced the hiring of Terrie O’Hanlon as Chief Marketing Officer. O’Hanlon will join Samay Kohli, CEO, and Chris Barber, VP and CEO North America, at GreyOrange’s U.S. Headquarters in Atlanta, GA.

In her role as CMO, O’Hanlon is responsible for global brand positioning and influencer strategies as well as for leading GreyOrange’s market development, communications and demand generation programs. O’Hanlon brings extensive expertise to her role, including leading marketing for emerging and established companies in supply chain, healthcare, financial ecommerce, enterprise applications and cybersecurity. Her supply chain experience includes orchestrating a successful brand transformation for Manhattan Associates, a global leader in supply chain commerce, inventory optimization and omnichannel solutions, and for Steelwedge, a supply chain planning company acquired by e2Open in 2017.

“Our solutions deliver highly differentiated value to forward-thinking companies ready to leverage fulfillment and distribution data and performance to extend their market advantage,” said Samay Kohli, GreyOrange CEO.  “Terrie will be instrumental in helping us reach the right buyers with the right value statements as we continue to expand globally, particularly in the U.S. where we have aggressive growth plans,” Kohli added.

“I’m thrilled to join a company that is revolutionizing outdated warehouse and distribution practices with modern, yet proven, solutions crafted specifically to drive commerce in this new era of immediacy and innovation,” O’Hanlon said. “GreyOrange is at the epicenter of opportunity: market estimates reported on Statista show worldwide investment in commercial service robotics alone – not including associated software, data and services – will reach $10.8 billion in 2020 and $17 billion in 2025. Importantly, logistics is expected to be the fastest growth area for this investment, reaching 48% of the worldwide spend by 2021,” she added.

O’Hanlon’s appointment continues GreyOrange’s expansion in the U.S. by adding to the company’s leadership strength and industry expertise. GreyOrange’s U.S.-based operation includes a software and robotics research and development lab in Boston and headquarters in the Atlanta tech corridor to lead sales, manufacturing, delivery and operations.

Terrie holds an MBA in Marketing from Columbia University, New York, and a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Florida. She sits on the Board of Directors for Revved Up Kids, a U.S. non-profit dedicated to empowering children against predators and abuse, and on the Women’s Forum Advisory Board for Tech Alpharetta.
