 with ‘Women in Logistics’ Facebook Live Interviews

Employees discuss Latina heritage, careers at DB Schenker as well as thoughts on diversity, inclusion and working in the logistics industry featuring ‘Women in Logistics” Facebook Live interviews. In a Q&A format hosted by DB Schenker’s Christine Alexis, Social Media Manager, Americas Region, DB Schenker employees talk about their Latina heritage, working in the logistics industry as well as their thoughts on diversity and inclusion.

 Marina Diez-Glomb, Senior Training Instructor, Americas Region

An Argentina native, Marina’s logistics career started at DB Schenker where she is a leadership trainer tasked with diversity and inclusion training grounded in building and practicing skills all employees can apply to their business careers and well as personal advancement. For Marina, Hispanic Heritage Month is an opportunity to celebrate our differences to learn, laugh and connect positively with each other.

Andreina Gutierrez, Global Account Manager, Vertical Market Industrial, Americas Region

Originally from Venezuela, Andreina has been working in logistics for over 24 years. At DB Schenker, her responsibilities as a Global Account Manager include providing the highest level of support and customized solutions for our customers. Andreina, like most Latinos, feels Hispanic Heritage month is the perfect opportunity to appreciate the many valuable contributions Hispanic Americans have made to the country.

Andrea Melendez, HR Manager, Americas Region

Andrea is an HR Manager for DB Schenker’s Americas Region. With 10 years in the logistics industry as a relocation specialist, Andrea has managed the many relocation details for hundreds of employees so the employee can stay focused on their job. Growing up in her native Miami, FL, has allowed her to embrace and observe all of the unique contributions Hispanics have made to the local community.
