AxleHire announced that it has acquired Covet Shipping, a full-service shipping company that services New York City, as it expands last mile delivery to New York. They will be providing Same Day and Next Day delivery services to retailers, brands and other companies in New York effective November 1, 2019.
AxleHire provides retailers, brands, and other companies a cost-effective and scalable delivery solution to compete with Amazon and Walmart who are offering same day and next day delivery service. The acquisition of Covet Shipping comes when they are expanding their proven same day and next day delivery services to the New York area and will expand AxleHire’s service offerings to Covet Shipping’s customers in two key markets already served by AxleHire – Los Angeles and San Francisco.
AxleHire currently provides service to companies in the meal kit/prepared food, grocery, retail, household goods, alcohol, prescription medications, and other industries.
