ELOshield is an automated anti-collision system for forklifts and floor workers. It automatically alerts forklift drivers and pedestrians if they get too close. The system has two safety zones—“warning” and “protection”—which can trigger different system reactions (like automatic vehicle slow-down). The range and shape of each zone can be flexibly programmed. As a failsafe, ELOshield sends multiple warnings—by sight (LED lights), sound (acoustic alarm) and feel (vibration alarm). ELOshield has won many industry accolades, including a top Innovation Award from the Material Handling Institute.
