Mobile Powered Workstation Is Compact, Ergonomic

The versatile RC Series Mobile Powered Workstation from Newcastle Systems has on-board power to run a laptop computer, a printer, and a scanner or other device for at least eight hours of normal use. Ergonomic, economical, and compact, its small footprint (18.5” x 22”) makes it perfect for narrow aisles and small spaces.

For efficient inventory management and many other tasks, the RC Series Workstation eliminates unnecessary foot travel and paperwork. In a receiving department, for example, inbound products can be inspected, labeled, and rerouted at the same cart. The upper laminated work surface is 20” x 22” with a ¼” lip on all sides. At the back of the unit is an 18” storage compartment.

With a push handle, 5-inch rubber casters, and no cord trailing behind, an RC Series Workstation can be moved and positioned with minimal effort for optimal productivity. The rear (swivel) casters can be locked for stability once the unit is in place.
The unit’s rechargeable battery offers integrated, seamless power. Carts are available with three different battery/inverter/charger packages. The Newcastle Systems website includes a “Find-A-Cart” tool that helps the customer choose the most appropriate power package by calculating the total wattage of the equipment to be supported.

The durable RC Series cart is constructed with 11-gauge steel and fully reinforced surfaces. It is also available as a non-powered model.

The RC Series can be configured to suit any application, thanks to modular accessories, including an additional shelf, a drawer, a keyboard tray, a laptop holder, a flat-screen holder, and a barcode-scanner holder. All can be added in seconds and easily adjusted to suit the operator’s height and needs.

In a warehouse or distribution center, typical uses of an RC Series Mobile Powered Workstation might include shipping/receiving, barcode scanning, inventory updating, and on-demand label printing. In a retail setting, the RC Series is ideal for product and shelf labeling, “line busting,” garden centers, sidewalk events, etc.
