Youngstown-Based Valley Industrial Trucks Receives International Honor

Valley Industrial Trucks, a Youngstown-based full-service material handling company specializing in forklifts, scissor lifts, dock equipment and storage products, was named CLARK Material Handling Co.’s 2011 North American Dealer of the Year on Thursday.

CLARK, inventor the forklift in 1917, has 216 dealer locations in North America, 173 of which are in the United States. Based in Lexington, KY, the company judges its dealers on sales of trucks and parts, service management, warranty administration, fulfilling training commitments and customer satisfaction.

“We are honored to be named CLARK’s North American Dealer of the Year,” said Valley Industrial Trucks President James E. Hammond. “This honor would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our employees as well as the loyalty of our long-term customers. It is an excellent accomplishment for our company, and is a true testament to the way we do business every day. We greatly appreciate the recognition for our hard work.”
