UltraLube® Slide Way Oil Extends Comprehensive Line of Metal Working OilsFriday, March 16, 2012
Plews, Inc., dba Plews & Edelmann, has added UltraLube® Slide Way Oil to its product lineup. This premium, biodegradable lubricant is the perfect complement to UltraLube’s line of metal working oils.
Designed to lubricate ways, slides and guides of machine tools such as grinders, milling machines, planers and saw guides, UltraLube Slide Way Oil is formulated with the best-optimized vegetable seed oils and select friction-reducing additives to provide excellent lubricity and extreme pressure properties. Its exceptional load-carrying and anti-wear properties protect ways and guides, helping to extend the parts’ useful life; and its low stick-slip properties provide smooth operation and accurate work even at slow speeds.
UltraLube Slide Way Oil’s bio-stable, biodegradable formulation contains no toxic chlorine or sulfur, making it safer for workers and easier to store. Available in two weights — ISO46 and ISO68 — this lubricant can be used on all flat and V-shaped surfaces, and for both horizontal and vertical applications. When used with UltraLube Semi-Synthetic Metal Working Coolant, it reduces tramp oil contamination.
With four times the natural lubricity of petroleum-based oils, UltraLube products instantly penetrate into areas where lubrication is needed most, creating a long-lasting bond to metal and plastic surfaces. Made from crops grown in the United States, UltraLube’s vegetable-based formula is eco-safe and non-toxic. Because they are VOC-free and non-flammable with extremely high flash points, UltraLube greases and oils are ideal for environmentally sensitive areas.
Certified by the USDA’s BioPreferred program, UltraLube products can help federal agencies and contractors meet green procurement mandates that require purchases of biobased products within identified categories, such as hydraulic fluids and lubricants.
UltraLube products are sold by leading retailers, industrial suppliers and warehouse distributors across the U.S. and Canada. For more information, visit www.UltraLube.com or call 800/545-1689.View all Industry News
