Some Think! Some Talk! Some Do.

Thursday, September 1, 2011

These six words hit me last night in my sleep some time around 3 a.m. They woke me up, and I began to reflect on the truth of these three options.

We are always thinking to ourselves … about how things could be, might be, should be. When alone we can even be talking to ourselves about what we would do if we hit the lottery. If only …

Without any degree of research on this subject I am willing to wager that 98.65% of people in America who can “fog a mirror” fall into these two categories.

Then come the “Doers.” This is that small element of people who are not afraid to fail, try, experiment, laugh, learn and live. This is the small group of people who endorsde the protocol of “Aim. Fire. Aim.” These are the people who actually die with a smile on their faces with little or no sign of regret or remorse.

I am not suggesting or receommending that you refrain from thinking, or talking yourself through individual scenarios. These are indicators of intelligence. I am implying that the clock is ticking, and it is high time for a little more “do.”

This month, go do something.
