Request for Information – Technologies to Reduce the Noise of Urban Deliveries
Tuesday, January 8, 2013The Center for Infrastructure, Transportation and the Environment at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to gather information on noise reducing technologies to lessen the noise produced by urban deliveries in the off-hours. These technologies may be suitable for use on trucks, trailers, shipping equipment (e.g., carts and dollies) or at the location of the delivery.
Through this RFI the project team will explore the benefits that various products have for reducing delivery related noises. If your company has a product(s) that could potentially be used to reduce the noise produced by deliveries, we would like to learn more about your products and services. Please respond by February 1, 2013.
