Oorja Protonics Introduces a New Product for the Material Handling Industry

Monday, January 12, 2009

FREMONT, CA — Oorja Protonics today announced the latest addition to its OORJAPAC family of products namely the OORJAPAC Model H. The Model H offers all benefits of the previous OORJAPAC generations to the material handling customer namely increased runtime for the material handling vehicle, enhanced productivity, grid independence and a very compelling payback. In addition, the Model H offers another significant advantage ---size reduction and a flatter configuration thus making it applicable as an on-board battery charger for all types of batteries and material handling vehicles being targeted by the OorjaPac family of products.

Model H’s system design lends itself to a significantly increased reliability in various diverse conditions seen at DCs, manufacturing locations, food processing facilities, cold-storage and freezer warehouses and outdoor operations such as at airports. Sanjiv Malhotra, CEO and President of Oorja Protonics said, “Model H is yet another example of Oorja’s continued pursuit of introducing products that fully satisfy our customer needs and in the process increasing our addressable market.”
