Nissan Forklift Introduces the Manager’s Special Pallet Truck Specifically Designed for the Meat Processing IndustryThursday, February 2, 2012
Nissan Forklift Corporation introduces its Manager’s Special pallet truck, specially designed to withstand the harsh requirements of the meat processing industry.
Designed to make maintenance and daily operation simple, as well as comply with meat processing industry standards, the Manager’s Special pallet truck offers features beneficial for frequent sanitation and daily wash downs, use in cold environments and lower maintenance costs.
The Manager’s Special pallet truck is designed to perform in coolers, wet rooms and freezers, at temperatures as low as minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Sealed switches and electronic components eliminate the need for thermostats and heaters that increase maintenance.
An optional clear coat finish contains an antibacterial additive to minimize microbial food safety hazards, eliminating more than 99 percent of harmful micro organisms, including E. coli and Salmonella. The coating prevents microbes from growing on the surface of the pallet truck and provides an extra layer of protection on the forks, undercarriage, platform, handle arm, lifting carriage and load backrest. Easily accessible grease points from the top of the truck keep maintenance simple as well as eliminate the need to lift the truck for routine upkeep.
Other features like auto-lift, which helps prevent forks from dragging, and stainless steel pins and linkage, make this pallet truck ideal for harsh processing environments.
“The Manager’s Special pallet truck was designed as a direct response to our customers’ need for a pallet truck that can withstand the harsh conditions of the meat processing industry while meeting the industry regulations,” said Steve Cianci, director of marketing and product management at Nissan Forklift.
