Media Partnership Cooperation-2nd China International Forging Summit 2012

Thursday, April 5, 2012

In the midst of huge changes, the forging industry has surprised the business world with its collective endurance and innovation. With all of the recent adjustments, there is a lot to be learned and built upon.

Esteemed speakers to be invited include officials from Chinese government and representatives from leading steel companies, forging companies, heavy machinery companies, and forging end users.

The agenda has been specifically designed to encompass the concerns of and solutions for the vast and varied international forging industry, and will feature the above keynote speakers and interactive platforms, which will allow all participants to gain valuable insights into the forging industry, its safety implications, and all else it brings. With the above information, it goes without saying that participants will be provided abundant networking opportunities.

The recent acceptance of Heavy Castings and Forgings for Key Technology and Equipment Development (a part of the National Key Technology R&D Programs for the 11th FYP) marks a strategic technical and industrial breakthrough for the Chinese forging industry. Lately, the industry has created a series of major products in several areas, including nuclear, hydropower, thermal power, and marine diesel engines. During the 12th FYP, the Chinese forging industry plans to promote core technical breakthroughs in heavy forgings, high-end products, and key components, and achieve batch production of heavy, complex, high precision, and special function forgings, while at the same time significantly reducing the industry’s energy consumption. The 2nd China International Forging Summit 2012 promises to deliver much-needed insights regarding the firestorm of recent activity and government actions, as well as provide an ideal platform for sharing, contacting, and learning among all delegates.
