Large Midwest Material Handling Dealer Expands Operations

Thursday, March 1, 2007

OKI Systems Limited, a leading provider of material handling products and services, opened their new corporate headquarters at 10685 Medallion Drive in Cincinnati, Ohio in early October.

“This move was prompted by the rapid growth in all seven of OKI Systems’ locations throughout Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana,” says Dave Reder, president and CEO of OKI Systems.

The material handling company added 60,000 square feet to an existing facility, which was newly renovated as part of the overall project. At a total of 100,000 square feet, OKI’s new facility is nearly double the size of their three current locations, bringing all corporate and Cincinnati branch operations under one roof. The larger, more accessible state-of-the-art facility allows OKI Systems to continue to do what they do best: sell and service material handling and loading dock and door equipment with a superior level of customer service.

“It is an exciting time for our company as we continue to grow our business and our facilities to keep up with customer needs.” Reder says.

With more than 400 employees including 173 service technicians, OKI is the largest lift truck dealer in the Midwest, representing Crown, Komatsu, Drexel and Daewoo for new equipment. OKI rents and services ALL lift truck types and brands and are the only distributor in the Midwest carrying a full line of material handling products, providing one-stop shopping for their customers. Check www.okisys.com for information on new, used and rental lift trucks, lift truck parts and service, dock & door equipment, parts and service, operator and technical training, and allied products, such as pallet rack, mezzanines and other warehouse supplies.

Started in 1970, OKI Systems Limited is a privately held distributor of material handling products manufactured by Crown Equipment Corporation, Komatsu and Doosan (forklifts); EnerSys (industrial batteries and chargers); Interlake (pallet rack); Kelley and Poweramp (dock levelers, dock seals, trailer restraints).
