Joseph Industries, Inc. remanufactures and distributes engines, transmissions, torque converters, overhaul kits and aftermarket replacement parts for material handling, construction and agricultural equipment nationally and internationally.

International Market Specialist Sandra Melendez said the company's mission is to help customers extend the useful service life of their equipment by providing high quality aftermarket parts that meet or exceed OEM specifications.

That is why each and every transmission and engine goes through a thorough process to reach this high quality. All Joseph Industries remanufactured transmissions receive new bearings, gaskets, rubber lip seals, sealing rings and clutch plates, and most receive new charge pumps. Cases, covers, gears, drums and shafts are thoroughly inspected for wear. Any components showing signs of wear greater than OE specifications will be replaced. Before shipping, all remanufactured transmissions are fully hot run-tested to meet OEM pressure specifications and performance standards.

All remanufactured engines are completely disassembled, and every component is chemically cleaned to remove dirt, grease, oil and rust before it is inspected. During the inspection, a magnetic particle inspection of the cylinder head, block and crankshaft is performed to assure there are no cracks or casting defects. All gaskets, seals and freeze plugs are replaced. All wear surfaces are re-machined to OEM specifications and then all engines are assembled and tested by AERA certified technicians.

Joseph Industries specializes in remanufacturing driveline units for popular brand names such as Hyster, Yale, Nissan, Clark, Toyota, Case, New Holland, Caterpillar, John Deere, etc. They also offer a wide assortment of transmission and engine overhaul kits and replacement parts such as pins and bushings, water pumps, brake discs and more. The company, located in Northeast Ohio, has been in business since 1945. Recently, the warehouse was expanded to allow for additional product lines and additional room to work. There is a second warehouse in California to serve the west coast customers.

"We're always developing new lines and adding to our line," said Melendez. The Product Development Team is focused on continuous expansion of product offerings with additional new models of remanufactured transmissions, engines, torque converters and more being added daily.
