FSIP Announces Training Classes

Tuesday, June 25, 2013

FSIP has announced the dates of two upcoming training class sessions for the Fall of 2013. A three day basic service school session for forklift technicians will be held October 16th through 18th in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, from 8:00am to 4:30pm. This class prepares students with knowledge in basic electronics, motor control theory, panel components, GE SCR controls & troubleshooting, and GE & Curtis transistorized controls & troubleshooting.

The second training session, a 2 day AC service school class will be held November 7th through 8th in Carlisle, Pennsylvania from 8:00am to 4:30pm. Students attending the AC class will learn basic electronics & component operation, magnetism & contactor operation, motor operation, and troubleshooting of Danaher AC, Curtis AC & Zapi Dual Motor AC systems.

Forklift technicians are responsible for troubleshooting and repairing a multitude of vehicle components and systems everyday. Without proper training, this task can turn into a parts swapping nightmare. FSIP training sessions are designed to help technicians understand basic forklift electronics and how to quickly and easily find the root of the problem the first time. Students will receive first hand knowledge of how electric vehicle systems operate, common problems seen in the field and how to troubleshoot and set-up electric vehicle controls. For more information about these training classes, visit www.fsip.biz.
