At the ripe age of 26, FMH Material Handling Solutions' president John Faulkner got his start in the material handling business. This January, his company will celebrate 30 years of success.
FMH Material Handling Solutions, a supplier of new, used and rental forklift trucks, offers cushion, pneumatic, electric and narrow aisle forklifts, and rough terrain lift trucks and trailer mounted lift trucks. A large fleet of used forklifts and rental equipment are available with capacities ranging from 3,000 to 50,000 pounds.
The following forklift product lines are available: Big Joe, CAT, Clark, Crown, Doosan, Donkey, Drexel, HELI, Linde, Mast Explorer and Sellick. The company also offers a complete line of other material handling products, including pallet jacks, loading dock equipment, shelving, pallet racks and a variety of other warehouse products.
FMH can handle all of your after-market needs, offering replacement parts, tires and repairs for all brands of lift trucks, including planned maintenance programs and safety training classes.
The material handling company boasts a quick and rapid response to its customers' request. "When a customer requests something, we are quick with a quote," said Faulkner. "It is almost instantaneous."
The professional sales staff is honest with customers and maintains a sense of integrity. Following up on commitments and promises is an absolute must with the staff.
"We treat our customers the way we would want to be treated in the same circumstances," said Faulkner. Service, price and response time hit the top of the list for the employees.
If you're having a problem with your forklift, field service technicians are available locally by phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A technician will normally be at your door within four hours of your call. You can also bring your forklift to the shop, where a technician will diagnose the problem and prepare a time and cost estimate.
FMH also offers a full-scale planned maintenance program that will lower your overall lift truck maintenance costs by reducing costly unscheduled major repairs caused by insufficient routine scheduled maintenance. FMH mainly serves the Western part of the United States, with branches in Albuquerque, New Mexico; Denver, Colorado; and El Paso, Texas. Other divisions include Southwest Equipment Sales, a distributor of the Heli and Mast Explorer forklifts; Rocky Mountain Battery, a distributor of EnerSys batteries; Alpine Equipment Company, specializing in warehouse products; and a newly acquired company, Industrial Forklifts in Los Angeles, California, a dealer for the Heli and Mast Explorer products.
As FMH celebrates their 30th anniversary, Faulkner is celebrating an expanding and growing company. "We're real happy about that," he said.
