Exide Technologies Names Troy Temple as Vice President – Motive Power for Company’s GNB Industrial Power Division

Exide Technologies (OTCQB: XIDEQ,, a global leader in stored electrical-energy solutions, today announced that Troy Temple joined the GNB Industrial Power division of the Company as Vice President – Motive Power.

In his new role, Mr. Temple will lead the Motive Power Regional Sales, National Accounts, and OEM teams as well as the Service and Marketing functions – working to develop and implement strategies in growing key market segments. In addition, he will focus on aligning resources to provide the best customer value and opportunities for the target regions.

With more than 25 years of sales and account management experience, Mr. Temple is a strong addition to the Exide team. Prior to joining the Company, he was Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Griffin Pipe Products, a division of Amsted Industries. He also held Vice President of Sales and General Manager positions at Pitney Bowes Inc., and led post-merger restructuring and integration efforts for sales and marketing functions.

Mr. Temple holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Illinois. He and his family reside in Geneva, Illinois.
