enVista to Present at 48th Annual Human Resources Conference & Expo

Tuesday, May 1, 2012

enVista, a leading enterprise and supply chain consulting services firm, announced that it has been invited to speak at the 48th Annual Human Resources Conference & Expo. enVista consultant Brette Hardison, BBA, will present Executing Your HR Vision: Have a Lasting Impact at Your Organization on May 2 from 12:30-1:30 p.m.

The right human resources project will provide high visibility and a positive impact on an organization’s bottom line. This interactive session has been pre-approved for one strategic credit hour and will focus on using Lean Six Sigma methodology to select the right project. Attendees will learn how to build the right support team to execute and sustain the vision.

“People hear about Lean Six Sigma a lot but there seems to be a misconception that it can only be applied to areas like manufacturing,” said Hardison. “The reality is that Lean Six Sigma is very effective when implemented in areas such as human resources. The concept provides a highly regarded process for HR to follow, from selecting the right project to measuring the results of the project. I am very excited to share with this audience the benefits of using Lean Six Sigma within a company’s HR department.”

In addition to learning how to execute a human resources vision, the conference offers four educational breakout session tracks with topics such as employee buy-in and communication, performance management, human resource’s role in operational excellence and understanding employee loyalty.

Michelle Kavanaugh, human resources director for the Indiana Chamber, said, “It’s no secret that employees who are fully engaged in an organization’s mission and goals can have a significant positive impact. This year’s conference features an employee engagement track with sessions that will let HR professionals discover innovative ways to help their employees grow, both personally and professionally. The conference also offers a strategic business management track to assist HR professionals in understanding how to integrate strategic HR training to match company goals.”

The 48th Annual Human Resources Conference & Expo will be held at the Indianapolis Marriott East on May 1-2, 2012. To learn more about the event, an online brochure can be found at www.indianachamber.com. A 10 percent discount will be applied to the registration fee by using the priority code number 5247.
