Dover Hydraulics Certified as Eaton Hydrokraft Repair Center

Monday, August 17, 2009

DOVER, OH — Dover Hydraulics has strengthened its position as America’s comprehensive hydraulic repair and service company with the announcement Eaton Corporation named Dover the exclusive Hydrokraft Authorized Service and Warranty Center. Dover Hydraulics also has been named the central stocking location for Hydrokraft parts.

Eaton hailed the move as an enhancement of the Hydrokraft customer experience, virtually eliminating the need for customers to return products to Germany for warranty work.

All hydraulic repair, reconditioning and hydraulic replacement parts for Hydrokraft needs can be fulfilled through Dover Hydraulics’ Dover, Ohio, and St. George, S.C., locations.

“Eaton named Dover Hydraulics the exclusive partner for one primary reason: our ability to deliver comprehensive hydraulic repair and service work,” said J.C. Raies, Dover’s director of sales and marketing. “Our mission is to restore customers’ Hydrokraft products to the same condition as the day they were installed.”

Dover’s experienced technicians have a success record with Hydrokraft pumps and hydraulic cylinder repair from every industry and application.

Raies said hydraulic repair customers benefit from Dover Hydraulics’ industry-leading diagnostics. Engineers and technicians analyze breakdowns and failures, and deliver engineering solutions that result in fixing root causes, not just the worn or broken parts.

Dover provides comprehensive hydraulic component testing and calibration. Technicians can test even the largest pumps, up to 730 horsepower, to full-flow and full horsepower.

Dover tracks every job’s progress and the complete history of service through its industry-leading Automated Tracking System. “Our computerized system shows where customers’ units are in our facilities, and what has been done if the pump was previously in our shops. We utilize this system for every other job that we process,” Raies said.

Raies said as the authorized Hydrokraft repair and parts house, Dover encourages customers to share their installed bases, and that will ensure the availability of parts when needed.

Dover is well known for comprehensive hydraulic cylinder repair, and is a leader in custom new cylinders. Dover capabilities include large hydraulic cylinder repair work for steel mills; coke plants; scrap yards; underground mining; mobile and construction equipment; amusements parks; offshore/marine shipping and cranes; oil, gas and water well drilling; and marine diesel engines.
