Monday, June 1, 2009Conference Provides Workshop for Attendees to Learn What it Takes to Operate a Cleaner Fleet
WHAT:
As part of its Clean Cities/Clean Vehicles program, the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) is hosting Amp Up Your Fleet: Advancing the Choice (ATC) 2009, a conference to educate transportation professionals about the latest alternative fuels and engine technologies that will help improve air quality.
Professionals in the public and private sectors will convene at ATC to:
- Discuss the present-day and future use of clean fuels like biodiesel, compressed natural gas, ethanol, propane and more
- Learn about impending rules governing fleet operations
- Discuss current Federal funding available for fleet projects that demonstrate cost-effective emission reductions
