DISPLAY AD SPECIFICATIONS
Display Sizes
PDF Specifications
We prefer to receive digital advertising files in Adobe’s PDF format exported from InDesign using the PDF/X-1a specification. We do NOT recommend exporting PDF files directly from your native operating system, Quark or other non-Adobe applications. The results of exporting from non-Adobe applications can be unreliable and will not meet our specifications. Do NOT outline type. Do NOT send ads as JPEGs. Not following these specifications will result in ads that are not searchable in our digital publication.
Checklist
- Page size is correct. See above for ad sizes.
- All images must be TIFF or EPS at least 150 DPI.
- All B&W ads must be made in Grayscale.
- All Spot color ads must be made in Grayscale & Magenta (Magenta represents what you want in color).
- All process color ads must be made in CMYK.
Files can be sent by:
- Email (under 5MB)
- Ad Upload
- CD/DVD ROM
Contracts, Cancellations & Payment Policies:
- Display rates include print & digital and are per issue.
- Frequency discounts require a written agreement. Short rate billing will occur on any advertising agreements not fulfilled within the specifications or terms of the agreement. No cancellations will be accepted after the 15th of the month.
- Display and Classified deadline is always the 15th of the month. If it falls on a weekend, the deadline is the Friday before.
- Payment is due by the 25th of the month in which your advertisement appearded. Payable in US Dollars by Company Check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.
