Unicarriers Americas awards top dealers and sales professional with trip

Sunny skies and sandy beaches are just a few of the perks enjoyed by top dealer personnel, who were awarded by UniCarriers Americas (UCA) for their sales performance in UCA’s annual Pack for the Sun sales contest. Over 50 sales and aftermarket personnel and their spouses were present for the trip to Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, which was awarded for outstanding performance in new and aftermarket sales.

The winners were selected based on sold new units and aftermarket parts. During the trip, UCA announced Gary Shiverdecker from Industrial Truck Sales & Service as the winner of its prestigious Pinnacle Award for sales achievement in 2016. The Pinnacle Award is awarded to the very best and most successful professionals in material handling. Additionally, UniCarriers Americas also presented several awards recognizing dealership and individual sales performance.

“Pack for the Sun isn’t just a reward for good salesmanship, it’s a celebration of what UniCarriers America’s dealers and aftermarket professionals mean to our company,” said Brian Markison, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, UniCarriers Americas. “We want our teams to know we value them and that we honor the hard work they do and what better way to do that than offer a relaxing and beautiful getaway?” Markison added.

To qualify for the trip, UniCarriers dealer sales managers and sales representatives were entered into contest groups determined by their dealership’s market size. The highest number of points determined the top representatives in each of the contest groups during 2016.
