Wednesday, October 5, 2016

Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc. (MCFA) announced that it has appointed Towlift, Inc. (Towlift) to represent its Cat® lift trucks, Mitsubishi forklift trucks and Jungheinrich® forklift and warehouse product lines in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area, effective immediately. Beginning January 1, 2017, Towlift will serve as the only authorized distributor of these brands in this territory. Towlift will operate out of a temporary facility in Ambridge, Pennsylvania with plans to build a new facility in the Pittsburgh area in the near future.

“Towlift has represented MCFA brands for several decades and is well known for consistently providing exceptional customer service and support in the material handling industry,” said Kent Eudy, executive vice president for sales and marketing at MCFA. “Their dedication to excellence and knowledge of the MCFA brands and products will make their expansion into the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area and surrounding counties a smooth transition for our customers.”

With more than 50 years of expertise in the material handling industry, Towlift has a trusted team to support the material handling needs of customers by providing quality and reliable forklifts backed by world-class customer service and support.

"Everyone at Towlift is excited about our expansion into the Pittsburgh market,” said Matt Adams, president of Towlift. “We are committed to bringing the very best in material handling products and services to the Pittsburgh business community and look forward to a long-standing relationship with customers in this area.”

MCFA has awarded Towlift the company’s “Five Star Customer Service” and “Dealer of Excellence” awards on multiple occasions over the past 20 years.

“The Towlift team will carry on its legacy of award-winning service and support that our Cat lift trucks, Mitsubishi forklift trucks and Jungheinrich warehouse product customers depend on from their material handling partner. This means that customer expectations through the ownership life-cycle will result in a first-class experience,” said Eudy.

In support of this expansion, Towlift has also announced two key promotions within their management team: Ryan Harmon will serve as General Manager for the new Towlift Pittsburgh operation and Jamie Feathers will serve as Product Support Manager.
