TMEIC Corporation Introduces Industrial Systems Business UnitMonday, November 2, 2015
Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electrical Industrial Corporation of Roanoke, Virginia is pleased to announce the formation of the Industrial Systems Business Unit. This new operational unit combines two of the company's key technology segments, serving the metals and material handling industries.

As a result of this powerful new combination of resources, TMEIC is better positioned to develop innovative technologies, quickly respond to industry trends and apply solutions to multiple industrial market segments around the world.

TMEIC Corporation is currently working on a number of significant industrial projects, including a major steel mill upgrade in Eastern Europe, a new paper mill in North America, two large port facility automation projects in China and over 1.5 Gigawatts of new utility scale photo-voltaic inverter projects in North America. To support these and other projects, TMEIC Group opened its first manufacturing plant in the US.
