Shoppa’s Material Handling, a Texas-based distributor throughout Dallas-Fort Worth, North Texas and Kansas City, Missouri, announced today that Patrick Collier has joined the company as Chief Operations Officer (COO) to lead operations at the fast-growing Toyota forklift dealership.

The new position has been created at Shoppa’s Material Handling to improve the
functionality of the business and drive extensive, sustainable growth. Collier will be
responsible for the implementation of business strategies, plans and procedures as well
as advancing internal policies and procedures to promote the company culture and
vision. He will report solely to the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

“We are excited to bring a manager of such a high caliber to the Shoppa’s executive
team. He is a charismatic and enthusiastic leader who develops peak performing
organizations by fostering accountability, emphasizing transparent communication,
empowering and cultivating teams to maximize results,” stated Jim L. Shoppa, President and CEO, Shoppa’s Material Handling.

Collier brings an extensive background in distribution, logistics, planning and
operations with Alcon Laboratories where he served in several positions over the past
eleven years including North America Supply Chain Head. He was responsible for over
550 associates and 5.3 billion dollars in annual sales revenue.

Other previous employment includes advanced management operations positions with
Staples and IBM Business Consulting Services. Collier holds a Masters of Business
Administration (MBA) from Texas Christian University (TCU) and an undergraduate
Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University.

“I look forward to working with the Shoppa’s team and setting comprehensive goals
for growth and performance as well as overseeing daily operations. I believe that
organizations need to see, hear and trust their leader. It is imperative that everyone be
fully committed to the mission, understands how we are going to get there, accepts their
role in the mission and executes their work,” stated Collier.

Currently Collier resides in Fort Worth with his wife, Stacey, of 12 years and their three
young children.
