Kenco Logistics elects two new board of directors

, provider of integrated logistics solutions, real estate services, and material handling equipment, announced that James Mattie and Thomas M. Perry III have been named to the Kenco Board of Directors. Both Mattie and Perry bring a mix of expertise including financial, strategic, and operations experience, as well as deep understanding of the third-party logistics (3PL) industry. By joining Kenco’s board, they will play a crucial role in the company’s continued expansion efforts, adding both invaluable and diverse expertise to the board.

“Kenco is primed for growth with the addition of James Mattie and Thomas Perry III and their experience in long-term strategic planning and business management will greatly support our overarching growth plans in this industry,” said Denis Reilly, CEO and president of Kenco. “The versatile professional expertise they bring will also strengthen Kenco’s key operations.”

With an extensive background in Development and Operations with hundreds of public and privately-held companies of all sizes, James Mattie brings a level of business experience that will make positive impacts to the Kenco board. Starting in 1981, he led the formation and growth of PricewaterhouseCoopers’s Private Company and Family Business Practices, which is now a $1 billion practice employing 2,000 professionals across the U.S. Mattie’s wide-ranging history in risk management, mentoring, and business services will also be a valuable addition to the Kenco board, along with his commitment to teamwork and advancement. Mr. Mattie and his wife Susan, who live in the Boston area, have three adult children.

Thomas M. Perry III brings a successful track record in Operations, Technology, and Account Management particularly in 3PL and reverse logistics. He served as President of GENCO’s reverse unit for several years, overseeing a period of significant, profitable growth during his tenure. He was also the Chief Technology Officer at GENCO IT for two years prior to his retirement from the company. Perry’s focus on significant and measurable business improvements and his thorough comprehension of the technology industry, will aid in Kenco’s critical executive decision-making and dedication to sustained growth. Mr. Perry and his wife Lisa, who live in the Pittsburgh area, have three adult children.

The addition of Mattie and Perry to the Kenco board will bring invaluable insight and a deeper understanding of logistics, technology, and the complex world of business, which is a testament to Kenco’s growing industry presence.
