FORTE, a Swisslog company, is pleased to announce the addition of Jim McNerney as a principal sales executive to its leading warehouse automation and warehouse execution software sales team.

In his new role, McNerney draws on his 28-plus years of experience in supply chain management, enterprise legacy and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Most recently, he was the principal and co-founder of New Course LLC, a systems integration firm primarily focused on helping companies effectively deploy warehouse management solutions. Previously, he was the principal and senior vice president of TranSystems Corporation, where he exceeded first-year revenue and profit margin targets by over 25 percent. In addition, he was one of the top two producers out of 20 supply chain client managers. He was also the principal and co-founder of ESYNC, a supply chain consulting and systems integration company headquartered in Toledo, Ohio, that won numerous industry awards.

McNerney has been a speaker at many supply chain conferences and has published several articles and white papers on supply chain topics over the years. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bowling Green State University.

FORTE was acquired by Swisslog, a global provider of integrated logistics solutions for warehouses, distribution centers and hospitals, in April of 2015. Swisslog’s expertise in automated storage and retrieval systems and other goods-to-person technologies combined with FORTE’s capability in conveyer and sortation systems and leadership in warehouse execution systems has resulted in a powerful partnership that better serves their combined customer base.
