Chris Meinecke Named COO Briggs Equipment USA: Briggs Equipment is proud to announce the promotion of Chris Meinecke to Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Briggs USA. Meinecke has been with Briggs for more than 22 years, the last three and half of which he has served as Chief Operating Officer of Briggs UK. New AEM English and Spanish Skid Steer Safety E-Books Join Updated Print Manuals: The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has extensively updated its popular Skid Steer Safety Manual and now also offers e-book versions in English and Spanish. Much of the skid steer safety manuals’ text has been rewritten and the graphics have been updated to be more inclusive of all styles of skid steer loaders. The safety information contains several key additions, including new content on Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) fuel hazards and hazards involving masked visibility areas around the machine. PSI Announces Successful 4.3L LP Engine Program for Hyundai Forklifts: Clean technology engine supplier Power Solutions International, Inc. (“PSI”) (OTCBB:PSIX) announced successful results for its Tier IV diesel engine replacement program with Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. PSI supplies Hyundai with 4.3-liter liquid propane engines for its 7A series 60/70L LPG forklift trucks, supporting production at Hyundai’s manufacturing facility in Ulsan, South Korea. The new size 1,140 x 1,140 mm (Nest C5.2), augmenting the existing pallets in size 1,100 x 1,100 mm Nest C5. The large Nest C5.2, is available as a nestable pallet with nine feet or in a version with six clip-on runners. This pallet is a real space-saver: 15 empty pallets stack to a height of just one meter. This permits dense storage and economical transport of empties.
