GuardRFID and Focus FS partner to deliver Personnel Safety and Accountability solutions for the Oil and Gas and Industrial Markets: Guard RFID Solutions Inc. of Vancouver, BC and Focus FS of St. John’s, NL have partnered to deliver a unique solution for one of Newfoundland’s offshore oil and gas projects. This innovative system enables accurate tracking and location of tagged personnel for real-time visibility in the event of an emergency incident. The system also supports the tracking and management of materials - such as equipment and tools - which reduces the time required to locate them, assists with maintenance schedules, and prevents loss. This Personnel Safety solution, provided by Focus FS, is the first solution of its kind to be implemented in the Newfoundland offshore oil & gas industry.  Read full article


Arandell Corporation Wins Wisconsin Lift Truck’s Forklift Rodeo Challenge:  Wisconsin Lift Truck proudly hosted a forklift rodeo challenge at the PFMA’s Plant Engineering and Maintenance Expo March 12th, partnering with Steel King Industries and Storage Battery Systems. The event was held at the Wisconsin Expo Center at State Fair Park with 4,800 Plant Engineers & Maintenance Managers in attendance looking to source solutions to improve the safety and efficiencies of their facilities. The forklift rodeo challenge was a newly added event this year. Fourteen highly skilled forklift drivers representing companies such as; Arandell Corporation, Gaco Western, Color Ink, Wildeck Inc., Warehouse Specialists Inc., Prop Shaft Supply, Osmose Inc., Hot Water Products, etc. competed for the title of forklift rodeo champion.
